ACTIVE ADULT COMMUNITIES

Own your home. Know your neighbors.

Alliance Aurora is developing small, gated communities of detached single-family homes for active adults who value independence, meaningful connections, and the freedom to age in place. Our first community is planned for Vancouver, Washington.

You shouldn't have to choose between your independence and your people.

Maybe your home feels bigger and quieter than it used to. Maybe sharing a home with family doesn't offer the privacy everyone needs. Or perhaps you've explored assisted living and realized it's not the lifestyle you're looking for. We believe there should be another choice — one that brings independence, homeownership, and meaningful connections together.

Assisted living

Monthly housing rent can range from $6,000 to $12,000 or more, depending on location and community. Some senior living communities also charge a one-time entrance or buy-in fee ranging from $10,000 to $1 million or more. While these communities provide valuable services, residents typically pay ongoing housing costs rather than build equity in a home they own.

Moving in with family

Living with family can bring everyone closer, but sharing a household can also make it difficult to maintain personal space, privacy, and independence.

Staying home alone

Staying in your own home offers familiarity and freedom, but maintaining a larger house and staying connected with others can become more challenging over time.

The next 15 or 20 years go by fast. You should get to spend them the way you want.

Adult Foster Care Homes

Adult foster care provides personal care and daily support in a smaller, home-like setting. While it offers valuable assistance, residents typically pay for housing and care rather than own their homes, with less independence and flexibility than traditional homeownership.

We've Seen Senior Living Firsthand. We Envisioned Another Choice.

Our founder, Mark Vuong, brings 20+ years of experience in real estate development, construction, senior living, and cohousing communities.

Through his experience developing senior living communities, Mark recognized the need for another choice — one where people can own their homes, maintain their independence, age in place, and enjoy meaningful connections with their neighbors.

That vision inspired Alliance Aurora.

"Think about the next phase of your life.
How do you want to live?"

A Home That's Fully Yours, With Room for the People You Love.

Our planned two-story, detached single-family homes are thoughtfully designed for independence, comfort, and aging in place. Each home features a covered front porch, private driveway, garage, and two separate living areas under one roof.

The main floor offers everything you need for comfortable, single-level living. Upstairs, our innovative Vertical ADU provides a separate living space with its own kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and private entrance — ideal for multigenerational living, visiting family, or a live-in caregiver.

Stay independent. Keep your loved ones close. Enjoy a home that adapts as life changes.

Our goal is individual homeownership, allowing you to own your home and homesite, subject to final County approvals.

Your days

Planned for you

Quiet, sometimes too quiet

Your own schedule, with opportunities for community activities

A good week here looks like this.

There's no activity director. Just neighbors who like each other, making plans together.

6:00 AM

Start your morning with a refreshing walk around the village alongside your neighbor across the lane. Enjoy the fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and friendly conversation as the sun rises. A simple way to stay active, connected, and begin another beautiful day at Aurora.

FRIDAY NIGHT

Steak night at the clubhouse! Neighbors gather around the grill, pick fresh vegetables from the community garden, and bring their favorite side dishes. Everyone pitches in, sharing good food, laughter, and conversation while creating friendships and lasting memories.

7:00 AM

Start your morning with a warm cup of coffee by the fire pit as the sun rises. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, share stories with neighbors, and welcome a new day filled with friendship and meaningful connections.

SATURDAY

Spend quality time with family, enjoy laughter and special moments with the grandkids, or catch up with friends over coffee at the clubhouse. Whether it's a family gathering or a relaxing afternoon with neighbors, Saturdays are yours to enjoy.

AFTERNOON

An hour in the garden, a swim, tea with your neighbor, or a quiet nap at home. Your call.

SUMMER NIGHTS

Gather with neighbors and friends for an outdoor movie under the stars. Bring your favorite blanket, enjoy some popcorn, and make lasting memories on the community lawn.

A home you own

Friends close by, no planning a month out

Help on your terms, if you need it

A family that worries less

Helping a parent plan what's next?

You want your mom or dad to enjoy their independence, stay connected, and have a place they can truly call home. Alliance Aurora offers a home they can own, caring neighbors nearby, and a welcoming community where friendships grow.

Designed for aging in place, our homes offer comfortable main-level living and a flexible upstairs Vertical ADU for visiting family, multigenerational living, or a live-in caregiver as needs change.

With optional concierge services to help coordinate care and everyday support, your loved ones can continue living life on their own terms.

More independence for your parents. Greater peace of mind for your family.

Aurora is built for people who want to keep living fully.

A Great Fit for You If You

  • Want a home you own and neighbors you actually know. Enjoy the pride of homeownership, the opportunity to build equity, and a welcoming community where meaningful friendships can grow just steps from your front door.

  • Are retired, semi-retired, or still working. Aurora is designed around your lifestyle, not your age or a fixed schedule, giving you the freedom to enjoy this chapter of life on your own terms.

  • Value independence with meaningful connections nearby. Plan your own days, enjoy your privacy, and spend time with neighbors whenever you choose, without feeling obligated to participate in scheduled activities.

  • Want the flexibility to age in place with support when you need it. Through our strategic partner, Mobility Rules, we're developing optional concierge services to help coordinate home care, wellness support, and access to qualified providers as your needs change.

  • Enjoy the simple things that bring people together. Picture yourself tending a community garden, relaxing in the swim spa, sharing steak night at the clubhouse, or enjoying conversations around the fire pit.

Probably Not the Right Fit If You

  • Need specialized memory care or round-the-clock medical support. Alliance Aurora is an independent living community, not a licensed assisted living or memory care facility. Residents can arrange additional care through qualified providers as their needs change.

  • Prefer a fully staffed senior living facility with daily scheduled services. Aurora does not provide an on-site activity director, daily meals, or included housekeeping. Instead, residents enjoy the freedom to plan their own days, participate in neighbor-led activities, and access optional concierge services for additional support.

Aurora isn't a licensed care facility. You're free to hire whatever help you need, on your own terms.

What people ask us most

Our plan is for homeowners to own both their home and individual homesite, just like a traditional single-family property.
